If you have wanted to try needle felting, now is your chance... and you can try it for free. Stop by the Flying Sheep and ask about our "free" make and take. It only takes a few minutes and is safe enough for children to try. The felting is done with cookie cutters, water and a fork.
The Mirasol Project Flying Sheep Yarns has brought in a new line of yarn. Mirasol is a line consisting of four yarns. Each yarn is unique and luscious! It’s an absolute joy to hold and knit with. As part of the Mirasol Project, a portion of the proceeds from sales go back to support health care and education for children in the Puno region of Peru; one of the most impoverished and disadvantaged areas in the world. The money improves lives ay addressing health care and malnutrition and through education. The program focuses on preserving local culture and traditions while preparing the children for a changing and challenging future. It is wonderful to know that as consumers we can make a difference by choosing what we buy. Come in, see the yarns and learn more about this great project. New Yarns
